University of California
University of California (UC) is a state university system in the State of California, USA. The university is comprised of more than 191,000 students and more than 1.34 million graduates who are still alive. The first campus was established in 1868 in the city of Oakland, California (the area now called Berkeley), while the campus to the 10th and the latest was opened in autumn 2005 in the city of Merced, California. Collectively and individually, University of California boasts a renowned professor in large quantities in various fields. The university is regarded as a model for institutions across the United States government, though in the financial year 2002-03, only 38% of the total funds come from the State. The entire campus students receive either "undergraduate" or "graduate" with the exception of San Francisco campus, which only accepts students "graduate" in medical science and health.
