Cornell University is a private research university located in Ithaca, New York, USA. Cornell has two medical campuses in New York City and in Education City in Doha, Qatar.

As a member of the Ivy League was the youngest, he founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White after his American Civil War was over. Cornell has a vision to open the doors of education to persons of various religions and nations. In 1865, Ezra Cornell stated, "I will build an institution that everyone could see in every field of education." ("I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.")



Cornell has one of Asia's largest collections in the world. The collection is stored in the Carl A. Kroch Library.


Cornell has seven faculty for undergraduate and six graduate and professional faculty.
